SEO on the other hand, is free. Totally free, because it is you, writing the content, and doing the work, and adding in the key words.

SEO also allows you to add in more keywords as well. You can work on a different set of keywords for each page and post.

The biggest downside of SEO is that it can take time. Lots of time, depending upon the niche and the keywords that you are trying to rank for.

However, in the long run SEO will cost you less, and will definitely garner you more visitors and costumers.

If you want to REALLY start out with a bang, you could use both initially. Start out by hammering out quite a bit of content to get your SEO work rolling. Start getting your site noticed by Google.

Once your site has enough content to keep readers busy, then start working on one or two PPC ads. This is to draw in more readers and to get people interested in your site. Having readers come to your site, and stay there, is great for your SEO, because it shows that people coming to your site for a specific reason, are finding the information they are looking for and sticking around to read it.

After you notice a steady stream of readers, and you notice that they are coming in through keyword searches, you can stop your PPC ads. You’ll be saving money, and still bringing in visitors through SEO. A good blog for online business is

Whatever way you decide to run your business, make sure that it is what is best for you. Try not to rely too heavily on PPC as it will cost you big time in the long run, and often times, you just do not get that investment money returned.
